A luddite is a person who’s averse to (especially) technological change and advancements. This would be that person in your live who – to date – resisted buying a smart phone and is NOT over 80.  I know a few of the kind and they’re actually quite lovely; if and when you get a hold of them.

Originally Luddites were early 19th-century English textile workers, or self-employed weavers, who protested against newly developed labour-economizing technologies by destroying machinery primarily in cotton and woolen mills.
