Non-Profit Fundraiser for GenerationEngage
Speaker: Former President Bill Clinton

10 days before its annual fundraiser, Generation Engage, a not-for-profit company, contacted us to help with its simul-web-cast, to and from three locations. The main location, the Polo Ralf Lauren store in New York City, featured former President Bill Clinton as speaker. The main challenges were having little time to make the store and the remote locations broadband-ready, and to organize a high-end 90-minute event. A third hurdle included working with volunteers on the project in two remote locations.

In the end, we pulled it off and the client sent us the nicest thank you note we’ve ever gotten. We did five similar events after that with politicians such as, former Senator John Edwards and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, Supreme Court Justice Breyer and Senator Daschle.

Swiss National Day Party on Ellis Island
Client: Swiss Roots & Consulate General of Switzerland

Clock Wise produced the Swiss National Day for four consecutive years. In 2006 the Consulate General of Switzerland launched an initiative to connect Americans with Swiss roots to their origins. The project, called Swiss Roots was a nationwide program with events throughout the year. On July 29th the Migration Museum of Ellis Island opened an exhibit on Swiss Migration: “Small Numbers Big Impact”. Clock Wise Productions was hired to produce the Swiss National Holiday Party that day on Ellis Island and make it the signature event of Swiss Roots.

The logistics of getting 2,400 guests and 250 participants onto Ellis Island during the high season where formidable, but we pulled it off working closely with Circle Line, the National Park Service, United States Park Police and the concessionaire Aramark. Photos by Dominik Huber.

Live Media Events from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)
Client: Burson Marsteller for ABB, Syngenta & Telecom Austria

For Burson Marsteller and their clients ABB, Syngenta and Austria Telecom we produced live events from the NYSE for their ADR listing dates. For ABB we produced a world-wide web cast with forty-five minutes of content, some pre-produced some live. For Syngenta we had a global satellite feed to three continents with 40 minutes of original live content and for Austria Telecom we documented the proceedings on the floor and facilitated an audio link to the Austrian Stock Exchange. The raw energy of the trading floor was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
