What if I can't make all the group calls?

If you’re unable to make one of our calls don’t worry. All of the group calls will be recorded and made available for you to view at your convenience.

How long are the calls?

Group and 1-on-1 calls are scheduled to last 1 hour each.

How do we shoot if this is an on-line program?

Excellent question! We will guide you to set up and shoot yourself in a series of 1-on-1 calls. The goal of this cohort is to make you fully independent in your content creation. 

The 1-on-1 calls will cover topics such as:

  1. Finding your perfect location
  2. How to frame yourself
  3. Your presentation style

Who does the editing?

We will set you up to find the best editing solution for you. That might look like learning how to find and hire the right editor or it might look like us doing the editing for you (ask us about our editing price).

What happens AFTER the program?

This cohort is designed to set you up for ongoing video marketing success. During the program we will devise and set you up with a personalized strategy for creating continuous and effective video content.

How many hours a week do I have to plan for assignments?

Some weeks will be lighter than others but you should plan for at least 3 hours every week. How much time you spend will largely depend on how elaborate you want your scripts and shooting setup to be.

How many people are in the cohort?

Each cohort will have between four and six people. 

I’m confused, is this one-on-one or a group learning?

It’s a unique combination of both. While some elements of the program require personalized 1-on-1 coaching we believe that the most valuable learning happens in groups and with the accountability structure they provide. The group calls will allow you to get real-time feedback on your strategy and video style. 

Are there any on-line classes?

No, all of the classes will be live. 

Do I need to buy equipment?

No. Everything you need to accomplish will be possible with just a smartphone. Any potential (minor) equipment needs will be discovered and discussed during the program. 

What if I already make videos consistently?

Then this is the perfect opportunity for you. The primary goal of this program is to create a personalized video brand and strategy. Learning to script and shoot is a useful side effect. If you’re already shooting your own videos, this is an opportunity to clarify your voice, increase your effectiveness, and walk away with a branded Vlog style.

Do I have to do my own writing?

Yes, but don’t worry, you’ve got several options, there’s no one size fits all solution for scripting. Generally, however, there’s no need to script out every word and memorize it verbatim. You’re already an expert at talking about your business, all we’re going to do is focus your message and point a camera at it.
