Last friday I talked about the importance of knowing your audience. If you target audience are Digital Natives, you better know what a Bae is.
Bae is to Plurals (aka Generation Z, or Digital Natives, born 2000 and after), what the Slaker is to a Generation X-er and the Hipster is to a Millennial: part of their DNA.
According to the Urban Dictionary, Bae is an acronym that stands for “Before Anyone Else”, or a shortened version of baby or babe, another word for sweetie and, mostly unrelated, poop in Danish. It’s pronounced like the bay (as in at the sea).
